Biogenerics Australia Pty Ltd (BGA) was established in early 2005 by Mr Peter Simpson and has as its primary commercial objective to source, gain marketing authorisation for and supply and distribute in Australia “generic” versions of certain biological pharmaceuticals for which the applicable patents have expired.  Such generic biological pharmaceuticals are commonly referred to as “Follow-on-biologics” (FOBs).
